I couldn’t even wait to leave the parking lot without giving this meal a 5 star review. If you find yourself in the vicinity of The Gripper, you need to get over there ASAP and reward yourself with some of the best food you’ll ever have. They somehow make the chicken sandwich taste like something I haven’t already had 100s of times before. And don’t even get me started on those peach cobbler tacos. And to top it all off, they somehow have some of the best sweet tea I’ve ever had in 38 years of existence. You need to arrive hungry and be ready to set aside plenty of time to experience this greatness 🔥🔥🔥

WOW!! We were staying nearby and looked up restaurants near and ran across The Gripper Kitchen. We are so glad we did. Food was FANTASTIC! Our group had the Yung Gripper; the wings that came with yams, collard greens, and Mac 'n cheese, on a bed of cornbread; the bowl with Mac 'n cheese, fried chicken, and added bacon; and Cole slaw. Everything was beyond great! This place is a hidden gem in a strip mall. Get over there and show them some love! You will NOT be disappointed.
